LG Electronics Launches Kitchen Appliance Safety Campaign in the US
LG Electronics has launched a safety campaign to raise consumer awareness about the safe use of kitchen appliances in the United States.
According to the industry on the 7th, LG Electronics' U.S. branch announced on the 6th (local time) through its website that it will provide safety device usage instruction labels free of charge to customers who purchased certain electric ranges sold in the U.S.
Along with this, a video including detailed explanations on how to use the safety devices was produced and posted on the website.
This expands the voluntary recall recommended by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) into a consumer safety awareness campaign.
Recently, the CPSC recommended LG Electronics to distribute labels to customers who possess LG electric ranges shipped without safety device usage labels attached or who want to attach the labels in more visible locations.
