Kang continued, "First, as someone who taught examinees, as someone who studied our history, albeit insufficiently, and as someone who once worked at the same organization, I feel ashamed and humiliated myself." Although Kang did not directly mention Jeon by name, it is interpreted as expressing his views on Jeon's recent actions.
Kang said, "To those of you who gave me such joy and happiness, I believe I cannot at least give you thoughts like 'I am ashamed to have learned from that person' or 'My history of attending that lecture is disgraceful.'" He emphasized, "Today, I vow once again. Although I met you as an instructor, a profession I want to pursue, even if I am not someone you can be proud of, I will strive to live as someone who is at least not shameful."
He also said, "Those who give lectures speak about themselves through their lectures," and added, "When spring comes, although I am lacking, I will do my best to meet you through the channel I mentioned before."
Jeon recently became the center of controversy by raising suspicions of election fraud against the NEC on his YouTube channel and participating in rallies opposing the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol, showing political activities. When criticism arose from examinees regarding his political actions, Jeon stated, "I am not seeking personal gain."

On the 29th of last month, Jeon said on the Naver cafe 'Jeon Han-gil Korean History,' "I am not doing this because I intend to run for elected positions such as member of the National Assembly or president," adding, "Currently, South Korea is beyond the ideological confrontation between left and right; the values that the 2030 generation considers important, namely fairness and common sense, are collapsing. I do not want to live a life of regret thinking that South Korea is sinking, so I have made this decision."
