In Gwangju and Jeonnam, temperatures will remain similar to or slightly lower than average until this day, but are expected to be slightly higher than average the day after tomorrow. The expected precipitation is between 10 and 40mm.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: Gokseong, Gurye, Yeongam, Boseong, Haenam at -4 degrees Celsius; Hampyeong, Naju, Hwasun, Damyang, Jangseong, Suncheon at -3 degrees; Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Muan, Gangjin, Goheung at -2 degrees; Jindo, Gwangyang at 0 degrees; Shinan, Mokpo, Wando at 1 degree; and Yeosu at 2 degrees.
The daytime high temperatures are expected to be: Hampyeong, Muan, Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, Haenam, Gangjin, Wando, Goheung at 11 degrees Celsius; Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Hwasun, Suncheon, Gwangyang, Boseong, Mokpo, Shinan, Jindo at 10 degrees; and Gurye, Yeosu at 9 degrees, showing a higher distribution than the previous day.
Waves in the seas will be 0.5 to 1 meter high in the coastal waters of the West Sea and South Sea. Fine and ultrafine dust levels will remain at 'normal' levels.
An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "Icy roads and black ice are expected on back roads, alleys, sloped roads, and shaded roads, so please pay attention to pedestrian safety."
