Gwangju Dong-gu Launches Customized IT Education for Residents
Operates Year-Round Starting from the 3rd of Next Month
Gwangju Dong-gu (District Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 30th that it will begin resident-tailored informatization education from the 3rd of next month, aiming to realize a "Dong-gu of happiness, free in the digital world."
This year's program will be held in two sessions, morning and afternoon, at the newly renovated 4th floor Citizens' Informatization Classroom of the Dong-gu Public Health Center. The main courses include: ▲Smartphone utilization ▲Image and video editing ▲Various app usage ▲How to use YouTube, Instagram, and blogs ▲AI (artificial intelligence) utilization ▲Digital kiosk experience, among others. Residents who have questions about the courses or wish to participate can inquire or apply via the mobile app 'Dong-gu Doodream' or contact the Information and Communication Team at the Public Relations Media Office.
Im Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, stated, "With the rapid increase in the distribution of digital devices, many residents are experiencing difficulties in their daily lives," and added, "We will devote all our efforts to realizing a Dong-gu of happiness, free in the digital world, by providing high-quality education to improve digital device usage in everyday life."
