Gwangju Rotary Club Delivers Donation to Support Children with Leukemia and Pediatric Cancer

View original imageThe Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Korea Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer (Chairman Choi Youngjun) announced on the 30th that the Gwangju Rotary Club (President Hong Gichul) has donated 1.5 million KRW in celebration of the Lunar New Year.
Along with the donation, the Gwangju Rotary Club decided to explore various collaborative projects in the future, including support for medical expenses, self-reliance and rehabilitation assistance for children with leukemia and cancer and their families, as well as home repairs and household support projects for basic livelihood recipient families.
President Hong Gichul said, "Our members have pooled together their volunteer funds to help neighbors in need," and added, "We sincerely hope that this will be of help to the future generation suffering from childhood leukemia and cancer."
Chairman Choi Youngjun stated, "The interest and support from Rotary members at the beginning of the year has given great courage and hope to our families," and continued, "We will deliver your precious intentions with utmost care."
