Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) recently announced on the 23rd that Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Sang-wook) donated 100 million KRW as a sponsorship fund for purchasing local specialties.
Lee Sang-wook, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, “Due to the ongoing economic crisis, we decided to donate the sponsorship fund to revitalize the local economy and support vulnerable groups and low-income elderly residents within the region. We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities for the community.”
In response, Jeong Jong-bok, governor of Gijang-gun, said, “We ask for your continued efforts toward regional coexistence. We will ensure that the sponsorship fund entrusted to us is properly delivered to where it is needed.”

The donated sponsorship fund will be used to purchase local specialties from the Gijang area, and the purchased goods will be distributed to vulnerable groups facing economic difficulties in Gijang-gun and to local senior centers in the region.
