Acting Defense Minister Visits Harsh Winter Joint Live-Fire Training to Encourage Soldiers

Acting Minister of National Defense Kim Seon-ho visited the live-fire training site to encourage the soldiers.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 23rd, Acting Minister Kim visited the site of this year’s first ‘Cold Weather Air-Ground Joint Integrated Firepower Operation Live-Fire Training’ held at the morning promotion training center in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, to encourage the soldiers.
Visiting the assembly point of the troops participating in the training, Acting Minister Kim told the soldiers, “You must carry out your mission bravely with pride, delivering a decisive blow to the enemy’s heart to secure victory,” and added, “I am proud of all of you who are doing your best to improve winter operation capabilities and air-ground joint capabilities despite the harsh cold weather.”

Acting Minister Kim also visited the training control headquarters to receive a briefing on the training status, stating, “Strengthening joint operations is an essential factor to win in modern warfare, so we must continue to enhance joint training like today’s,” and emphasized, “By faithfully carrying out the military’s core mission of education and training, let us build a military that instills fear in the enemy and earns the trust of the people.”
