LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam Shares Warmth with Neighbors for Lunar New Year
Korea Racing Authority LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam delivered warmth and support to underprivileged neighbors in Busan and Gimhae ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, using agricultural and livestock products purchased from traditional markets.
This initiative is part of the social contribution activities conducted by the Korea Racing Authority’s Social Contribution Foundation. It was designed to revitalize the stagnant traditional markets and local economy, while also providing comfort and warmth to vulnerable groups in the communities where its business sites are located. Every year during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays, the Korea Racing Authority Social Contribution Foundation continues to share warmth by supporting local neighbors in need with goods purchased from traditional markets in the areas where its business sites are located.
For this year’s Lunar New Year, the foundation delivered goods worth approximately 12 million won-including six types of fruit and eight types of agricultural and marine product gift sets purchased from traditional markets-to underprivileged neighbors through senior welfare centers in Busan and comprehensive social welfare centers in Gimhae.
