The Seoul Regional Headquarters of Jungjinkong announced on January 23 that it had launched the "Jungjinkong On-Site Talk Talk" communication program at the Seoul Textile Center, in collaboration with the Korea Federation of Textile Industries, to strengthen communication with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the textile and fashion industry.
The on-site event was attended by Lee Changseop, Director of Planning and Management at Jungjinkong, Choi Moonchang, Executive Director of Planning and Management at the Korea Federation of Textile Industries, and representatives from about 10 SMEs in the textile and fashion sector. They listened to the industry's challenges and explored practical support measures for businesses.
Specifically, discussions were held on policy funding support for each stage of growth, strategies for utilizing foreign professionals, marketing support programs to enhance export competitiveness, and support for stabilizing the value chain.
In particular, participating business representatives suggested the need for customized support and job creation measures for domestic textile and fashion SMEs, as well as policy support focused on the field through strengthened cooperation between local governments and government-affiliated organizations.
