Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) conducted a special safety inspection on the 22nd at multi-use facilities including the International Passenger Terminal in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
As the number of passengers using the terminal increases during the holiday period, the inspection focused intensively on the management status of key passenger safety facilities such as elevators and boarding equipment to prevent potential safety accidents.
This inspection, carried out jointly with Busan Port Facility Management Center, a BPA partner company, involved safety, operations, and facility personnel from each organization forming a joint inspection team to identify risk factors and seek improvement measures.
BPA plans to immediately address any deficiencies found during this inspection and strengthen safety through continuous inspections and management in the future.
