1,000 Meal Kits Donated to Support Vulnerable Groups for Lunar New Year
Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) announced on the 22nd that on the 20th, Gijang Kkeutjip Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Ae-young) donated 1,000 abalone porridge meal kits (worth approximately 11 million KRW) to support vulnerable groups in the region.
Gijang Kkeutjip, with its main store located on Gijanghaean-ro in Gijang-eup, is a specialty abalone porridge restaurant operating both online and offline. The company also donates a portion of its profits back to the local community and continuously engages in social contribution activities to promote regional welfare development and the culture of sharing.
Jeong Ae-young, CEO of Gijang Kkeutjip, said, “We hope this support will help vulnerable families in the region during these difficult times of rising grocery prices,” and added, “We will continue our sharing activities for neighbors in need in the community.”
