The support targets travel agencies that attract four or more foreign tourists. If tourists visit two tourist attractions in Gapyeong-gun (including one paid attraction) and one restaurant, an incentive of 10,000 KRW per person will be provided. Additionally, if they visit the Jaraseom Flower Festa scheduled for May and September, an extra 5,000 KRW will be given.

Especially this year, a new incentive for attracting tourists who stay overnight has been established. If tourists use two tourist attractions in the area (including one paid attraction), one restaurant, and stay at an accommodation for one night or more, they can receive an incentive of 20,000 KRW per person.

Applications for incentive support are accepted from February 1 to November 30, and the program may end early if the budget is exhausted. Travel agencies wishing to apply must submit a prior application form at least three days before the trip and submit the incentive payment application within 15 days after the trip ends.

Detailed support conditions and application methods can be found in the notices section on the Gapyeong-gun official website.

Jo Sang-hee, Director of Tourism, stated, “We expect this project to serve as an opportunity to widely promote Gapyeong’s attractive tourist sites and local festivals to foreign tourists,” adding, “We will work to help revitalize Gapyeong-gun’s tourism industry and develop the local economy by expanding the attraction of foreign tourists.”
