Shinhan Card has partnered with the Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum) to launch a welfare card exclusively for its 450,000 members. The welfare card is scheduled to be released next month, and the company plans to provide various financial services in collaboration with its group affiliates.

View original imageOn the 22nd, Shinhan Card announced that it had signed a strategic business agreement with Sahakyeongeum for the launch of the card. The signing ceremony, held the previous day at Shinhan Card headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by Park Chang-hoon, President of Shinhan Card, and Song Ha-jung, Chairman of Sahakyeongeum.
Through this agreement, the two parties will launch the welfare card next month targeting 450,000 Sahakyeongeum members and their families, and establish a strategic partnership to expand and activate affiliated product memberships.
Shinhan Card stated that the Sahakyeongeum welfare card will include various additional services based on Shinhan Card’s flagship product, the 'Point Plan.' The Point Plan is a service that offers greater point accumulation benefits the larger the amount paid in a single transaction.
Shinhan Card also said it plans to provide various financial services to Sahakyeongeum members in cooperation with Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Life. They are preparing senior customer-focused marketing as well as developing insurance products tailored for school staff.

A Shinhan Card official said, "We will strive to enhance customer convenience so that Sahakyeongeum members do not experience any inconvenience while using the welfare card," adding, "We will continue to provide various financial services in collaboration with our group affiliates."
