Lee Jae-jun, the mayor of Suwon, shopped at Gumaetan Market on the 21st ahead of the Lunar New Year and encouraged the merchants.
The purchased holiday food and items were delivered to social welfare facilities in the district.
Mayor Lee bought groceries and other items using local currency and Onnuri gift certificates, encouraging the merchants. He then visited 'The Kkum Regional Children's Center' to donate the groceries purchased at the market. The groceries bought that day were also delivered to the Good Dream Workshop for the Disabled.
