Seoul Jung-gu Takes Comprehensive Steps to Improve Regulations
Focus on Identifying and Improving Regulations by April
Collecting Feedback through the Onttong Jung-gu Website
Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Gil-seong) will focus on improving regulations by April this year to resolve unreasonable regulations that cause inconvenience to residents' lives and hinder regional development. The target includes all regulations that restrict private activities or cause inconveniences in daily life, such as laws, ordinances, rules, and administrative procedures.
Jung-gu collects ideas for regulatory improvements through the ‘Onttong Jung-gu’ website to ensure that even small inconveniences felt by residents in their daily lives are not overlooked. Officials visit frequently visited sites to hear opinions and identify problems.
In addition, ideas for regulatory improvements will be solicited from all employees, and unresolved issues caused by regulations among previously received civil complaints will be reviewed again. By re-examining civil complaint data, plans will be made to prepare improvements that residents can feel.
The district plans to review proposed regulations through regular meetings and promptly address issues that can be immediately improved. If necessary, they will consult with Seoul City or central government agencies to seek solutions on a larger scale.
