The marine healing programs in Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do, are gaining attention as a winter training destination by offering differentiated training programs such as fatigue recovery and rehabilitation therapy.
According to Wando-gun on the 20th, starting with 11 youth soccer teams including Biryeong Elementary School in Gyeonggi-do, various teams have come to Wando for off-season training: the baseball teams of Yongin University of Arts and Sciences and Jeongeup In-Sang High School, three soft tennis teams including Anseong City Hall, and seven middle school badminton teams including Sannam Middle School in Cheongju, Chungbuk.

The athletes are dedicating themselves to training at various facilities such as the main stadium, Wando Baseball Stadium, Soft Tennis Court, Wando Middle School, Gogeum Soccer Field, and Sinji Myeongsashimni.

Choi Kwangyun, head of the Sports Promotion Division, stated, "The off-season training teams are expected to stay in Wando for an average of 10 days to about a month, which is expected to greatly help revitalize the local economy during the winter tourism off-season," and added, "We will spare no effort to support the winter off-season training teams that visit every year so that they can train in the best possible environment."
