The Daejeon city government announced that, with the partial opening of the temporary Yudeunggyo Bridge, some bus routes that previously detoured from Yucheon-dong to Taepyeonggyo Bridge to Doma-dong will be shortened to run from Yucheon-dong via the temporary Yudeunggyo Bridge to Doma-dong starting from the 24th.
The detoured routes affected by this change are Express 1, 119, 201, 202, 2002, 608, 613, and Route 20, totaling eight routes.
Twelve routes, including 113, 916, 21 to 27, 41 to 42, and 46, will maintain their current detour via Taepyeonggyo Bridge as left turns from the Seonam Bus Terminal starting point toward Doma-dong are not possible.
For more details, please refer to the Transportation Information Center, the Bus Transportation Association website, or the notices attached to the relevant buses and bus stops.
Nam Sideok, Director of the Daejeon City Transportation Bureau, said, "Although the traffic restrictions on Yudeunggyo Bridge have caused significant inconvenience to citizens, the partial opening of the temporary Yudeunggyo Bridge will allow us to shorten city bus travel times," adding, "We will do our best to restore normal city bus operations as soon as possible."
