The areas with relaxed parking enforcement include all traditional market surroundings within the district, including Gwangjang Market and Tongin Market.
Additionally, small-scale restaurants' local commercial areas, residential alleyways, and living streets with insufficient parking spaces will be managed flexibly. Jongno-gu plans to guide vehicle movement within the scope that does not interfere with traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
However, enforcement will be conducted normally in absolutely no-parking zones where there is a risk of threatening residents' safety or a high risk of accidents. Typical examples include fire facilities, bus stops, crosswalks, sidewalks, and intersection corners.
