View original imageHonam University announced on the 17th that the Department of Future Mobility (headed by Lee Junghwan) student car club ASPHALT conducted career experience and mentoring activities for 16 students from Naju High School.
On this day, ASPHALT team members shared knowledge related to vehicle manufacturing with Naju High School students under the theme "Design and Production of Electric Vehicles for Carbon Reduction," including a demonstration of their self-built car, as well as the principles and structures of electric and hydrogen vehicles.
Professor Son Byungrae from the Department of Future Mobility also gave a lecture not only on the detailed structure and principles of electric vehicles but also on the direction of career paths in the future automobile market.
Lee Junhak, president of the ASPHALT student car club at Honam University (sophomore), said, "I hope that Naju High School students will become more interested in the automotive field and start planning their futures through this mentoring," and added, "We will continue to create opportunities for high school students and do our best to support them, not just end with this mentoring session."
Professor Son Byungrae from the Department of Future Mobility said, "I hope it was a meaningful time for talented individuals who will lead the future automobile market to visit the Imagination Workshop at Honam University and reflect once more on their career paths," and added, "I encourage our department students to continue interacting with high school students, dreaming together about future cars and striving to become seniors and juniors walking the same path."
