Appointed as Air Seoul CEO on the 17th after transfer on the 15th
Kim Jung-ho, former Senior Vice President of Korean Air, has been appointed as the new CEO of Air Seoul, a low-cost carrier (LCC) affiliated with Asiana Airlines.
On the 17th, Air Seoul announced the new appointment of CEO Kim.
Born in 1966, CEO Kim graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Economics and joined Korean Air in 1991. He has held various positions including Passenger Marketing Department, Passenger Route Sales Department, and served as the head of the Fukuoka branch, Osaka branch, and Jeju branch. On the 15th, he was transferred to Air Seoul during the regular executive reshuffle of Hanjin Group.

CEO Kim stated, "With the merger with Korean Air as an opportunity, I will prioritize safe operations as the most important principle to gain greater trust from customers," and added, "I will do my best to present competitive products and services unique to Air Seoul."
