The Catholic University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation announced on the 17th that it demonstrated excellence in research administration capabilities by receiving a special award in the institution category and the grand prize and excellence award in the individual category at the '2024 Research Administration Experts Competition.'

View original imageThis competition, hosted by the National Research Foundation of Korea and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, was organized to enhance the transparency and efficiency of government research and development fund management. A total of 632 participants from 136 research institutions nationwide competed fiercely.
The Catholic University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation advanced the largest number of participants to the finals and achieved high scores in the average score per institution, earning the special award in the institution category. In the individual category, UM Hwang Bo-mi received the grand prize, and employee Kang Yoon-ah received the excellence award, achieving outstanding results.

Jo Seok-gu, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, “It is very meaningful that we could externally demonstrate excellence not only in research outcomes but also in research administration capabilities at this competition,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen the research support system and develop staff capabilities.”
