Nintendo Next-Gen Console 'Switch 2' Debuts... May Domestic Experience Event

View original imageNintendo's next-generation console, the 'Nintendo Switch 2,' has been revealed for the first time.
On the 17th, according to industry sources, Nintendo released a teaser video for the Nintendo Switch 2 on its official website and YouTube channel.
The dedicated controller, 'Joy-Con,' and the portable screen size have increased compared to the Nintendo Switch, while the button layout remains almost the same. The usage method of playing games on a TV screen by docking the portable device into a dedicated dock is also maintained.
Additionally, Nintendo stated that games released for the previous Nintendo Switch, both in package and download versions, will be fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2.
Specific specifications and release schedules are expected to be announced at Nintendo's new product presentation, 'Nintendo Direct,' on April 2.

Starting April 4 in New York, USA, and Paris, France, Nintendo will hold Nintendo Switch 2 experience events sequentially in major cities worldwide. In South Korea, the event will be held for two days from May 31 at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. Participants will be selected through a lottery from pre-registrations.
