BNK Busan Bank Receives 'Minister of Education Award' for Excellence in Career Exploration Activity Collaboration
Recognized for Contributions to Promoting Educational Donation and Financial Education
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) was selected as a 2024 Career Exploration Activity Cooperation Meritorious Institution on the 17th and received the ‘Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Commendation’.
The ‘Career Exploration Activity Cooperation Meritorious’ commendation is awarded to institutions and individuals who have made efforts to revitalize career education for youth. Busan Bank explained that it was honored with the award in recognition of its operation of the ‘Kkumdamgi’ career experience program.
In particular, Busan Bank was first selected in 2021 as an Education Donation Career Experience Certified Institution by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and was reselected in 2024, obtaining the certification mark until 2027.
Moon Jeong-won, Chief Consumer Protection Officer (CCO) of Busan Bank, said, “I believe this award is the result of Busan Bank’s leading efforts in regional education donation,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to provide quality career experience opportunities to more youth.”
