US White House Recognizes South Korea's Efforts to Uphold Constitution Amid Yoon's Arrest
The U.S. government reaffirmed on the 15th its commitment to the strong U.S.-South Korea alliance and its intention to continue cooperating with the South Korean government following the arrest of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
The White House National Security Council (NSC) issued a statement through its spokesperson on the same day, stating, "The United States is fully committed to working with the South Korean government and recognizes the South Korean government's efforts to uphold the constitution and its citizens."

Furthermore, the U.S. government confirmed that it will continue to cooperate with the South Korean government led by Prime Minister and Acting President Choi Sang-mok, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, reaffirming the strength of the U.S.-South Korea alliance.
