New Year Greetings and District Administration Direction Shared in 16 Neighborhoods from the 13th to the 22nd
Strengthening Communication with Residents and Encouraging Participation in District Affairs
Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will hold the ‘2025 Dong (Neighborhood) New Year Greeting Meetings’ from the 13th to the 22nd to welcome the Year of the Eulsa in 2025.
The ‘Dong New Year Greeting Meetings’ are held while touring the 16 neighborhoods to exchange New Year greetings with residents and communicate with them about plans for district development. The event is designed to inform residents about neighborhood news, district administration directions, and major project plans, as well as to increase interest and participation in district affairs.
The district opened the first chapter of the ‘2025 Dong New Year Greeting Meetings’ on the 13th, starting with Myeonmok 2-dong, Myeonmok Bon-dong, and Myeonmok 3·8-dong.
On this day, the event began with performances from the community center programs, followed by a session sharing the neighborhood’s basic status, major projects, and distinctive initiatives. In addition, residents who contributed to community and district development were commended, and the district’s administrative direction and vision for major policy projects were introduced.
The Dong New Year Greeting Meetings will conclude on the 22nd at Junghwa 2-dong. Notably, on the last day, the event will be held together with the opening ceremony of the newly renovated Junghwa 2-dong Community Center, making it a more meaningful occasion.
The district plans to actively review and reflect the opinions and suggestions from residents gathered during the New Year Greeting Meetings in district administration.
