Striving to Revitalize Electronic Commerce and Globalize the Society in the Era of Artificial Intelligence
Professor Jeong Seok-chan of the e-Business Department at Dong-Eui University (Director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center) has been inaugurated as the president of the Korea Internet Electronic Commerce Society for the year 2025.
The term of office is one year, from January 1 to December 31.
President Jeong Seok-chan stated, “In the era of artificial intelligence, I will strive to revitalize electronic commerce, which is undergoing new changes, and to globalize the society through hosting international academic conferences.”

Founded in 2000, the Korea Internet Electronic Commerce Society is an academic organization involving experts from universities, research institutes, government agencies, and industries. It publishes the KCI-registered journal Internet Electronic Commerce Research six times a year and plans to co-host the ITAM-31 international academic conference this coming July.
