Heo Eun-ah "Lee Jun-seok's Kingmaker Politics" VS Lee "Abandon Delusions"... Mud-slinging Fight
Heo: "Lee told me, 'Do nothing'... 'Very insulting, made me feel self-disgust'"
Lee: "Someone cried for three hours asking for a proportional seat"
On the 12th, Heo Eun-ah, leader of the Reform New Party, criticized lawmaker Lee Jun-seok for "shadow king politics," prompting Lee to immediately retort, "Abandon your delusions," deepening the internal strife within the party.
During this exchange, the two dredged up past statements and actions to criticize each other, resembling a 'mud-slinging fight.'
At a National Assembly press conference that day, Leader Heo stated, "The essence of the current Reform New Party crisis is that I did not comply with Lee's shadow king politics and tried to exercise the authority to appoint and dismiss the secretary-general," adding, "All other slanders and conspiracies against me are false."
She claimed, "Lee directly told me, 'Do nothing,' 'Don't touch the policies,' and 'Please just stay quiet.' These were very insulting expressions that made me feel self-disgust, but I endured silently."
She continued, "Lee is still a valuable asset to the Reform New Party, but the party is not 'Lee Jun-seok's private faction,'" emphasizing, "He must abandon his obsession with shadow king politics."
The internal conflict in the Reform New Party erupted after Leader Heo dismissed former Secretary-General Kim Cheol-geun on the 16th of last month. Heo alleged that Lee overstepped his authority by ignoring the party leader's powers and interfering in party affairs through his close aide, former Secretary-General Kim.
However, on the same day, Lee directly refuted Heo's claims on Facebook, stating, "I never contacted or requested anything from Leader Heo regarding party affairs first." He also pushed for pressure on her to resign through a party member recall system.
Lee pointed out, "No matter how much you twist facts or speak in a way favorable to yourself, it will only accumulate ridicule around you," adding, "The country is in chaos because of one delusional madman who declared martial law; abandon your delusions."

Targeting Leader Heo, he said, "You probably don't even remember causing a fuss by demanding 50 million won in special party dues from lawmakers after reckless financial management," and added, "Someone cried for three hours asking for a proportional representation spot during the general election. I decisively cut off the idea that proportional candidates could run again, which is common sense in politics."
