Gyeonggi Fire Department, 89.2% Satisfaction with Consulting-Focused Comprehensive Audit
The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 12th that 89.2% of all respondents answered positively in a satisfaction survey conducted on 11 fire stations in the province that underwent a consulting-focused comprehensive audit last year.
This survey was conducted online to verify the achievements and areas for improvement of consulting audits in the fire sector. Out of a total of 944 subjects, 674 participated, recording a response rate of 71.4%.
The survey items consisted of six categories: ▲auditor's attitude and demeanor ▲effort to listen to opinions by the auditor ▲auditor's expertise ▲whether the audit helped in work promotion ▲appropriateness of pointed-out issues ▲appropriateness of data requests.
According to the survey results, more than 90% of respondents gave positive evaluations regarding the auditor's attitude, effort to listen to opinions, and expertise. In particular, the auditor's attitude (93.4%) and whether the audit helped in work promotion (91.5%) received high scores.
However, the appropriateness of data requests received a relatively lower score of 84.2%. It appears that the burden on the audited institutions to submit audit materials influenced the negative responses.
The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters plans to reflect the results of this survey in this year's basic plan for fire audits by preparing improvement measures such as enhancing expertise to strengthen consulting and simplifying requested data.
