Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia EV3 Win World Women’s Car of the Year Awards
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 9th that the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia EV3 won awards in the Large SUV and Compact SUV categories, respectively, at the 2025 World Women’s Car of the Year (WWCOTY).
The 2025 World Women’s Car of the Year is judged by a panel of 82 female automotive journalists from 55 countries across 5 continents, who evaluate vehicles based on ▲safety ▲driving ▲technology ▲comfort ▲efficiency ▲eco-friendliness ▲value for money ▲gender equality.
This year, the evaluation was conducted on 81 vehicles launched in at least 2 continents or 40 countries during 2024, selecting the best vehicles in six categories: ▲Urban Model ▲Compact SUV ▲Large SUV ▲Large Car ▲4x4 and Pick-up ▲Performance and Luxury car.
The Santa Fe was praised for its distinctive H-shaped lamps, linear design, and spacious interior, as well as its powertrain lineup including the 1.6 turbo hybrid and plug-in hybrid, along with various practical features, earning it the title of best Large SUV.
The EV3 received high marks from the judges for its ample driving range of up to 605 km on a single charge based on the European WLTP standard, excellent quality, diverse convenience features, and competitive pricing, winning the best Compact SUV category.
