"How Does the Drifting Spaceship Return to Earth?"... National Busan Science Museum Launches Musical 'Pureunbyeol and Kkorialbyeol'
Free Performances Every Sunday Until the End of April
The National Busan Science Museum (Director Song Sam-jong) will stage the children's family musical "Blue Star and Tail Star" as the new performance for the 2025 Sunday Science Theater.
The first performance, opening on the 12th, is a science musical aimed at children and family audiences, featuring an interesting episode set in space.
It tells the story of a little pilot named "Hanbyeol," whose spaceship breaks down and drifts, and with the help of the comet "Tumello," which has deviated from its orbit, repairs the spaceship and returns to Earth.
Scientific concepts such as space, stars, and orbits are presented through a story and music tailored to the perspective of children.
The performance lasts about 20 minutes and will be held three times a day (11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.) every Sunday from January 12 to April 27 in the main conference room on the first floor of the Science Museum.
Reservations can be made online or via unmanned ticket machines on the day of the performance, and admission is free. For more details, please click on the National Busan Science Museum website.
Song Sam-jong, director of the National Busan Science Museum, said, "This performance, linked to the theme of the newly renovated Saessak Nuri Hall, stimulates scientific imagination and creativity in children living in the new space era," adding, "We are continuously developing diverse content that shares the joy of science culture."
