Yongin City Supports Jeonse Loan Interest for 120 Newlywed Couples
Within 7 Years of Marriage, Non-Homeowners Eligible
Interest Rate Within 1% and Limit of 1 Million KRW
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 9th that it will support the interest on jeonse loan deposits for a total of 120 households, providing up to 1 million KRW per household to help newlywed couples secure stable housing.
This project has been implemented by the city since 2020 to alleviate the housing cost burden for newlywed couples, and is available to newlyweds without home ownership who have been married for less than 7 years.
Newlywed couples who have registered their residence in Yongin City and have registered their marriage between January 1, 2018, and December 31, 2024, can apply. Applicants must meet the income requirement of a monthly income of 7.07 million KRW or less for a two-person household, and the eligible housing must have a exclusive area of 85㎡ or less and a jeonse deposit of 500 million KRW or less.
The city will select recipients through qualification screening based on income and home ownership status, and support 1% of the jeonse loan interest up to a maximum of 1 million KRW.
Applicants can apply at their local eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare centers from the 13th to the 31st. Detailed information is available on the Yongin City website.
