Hong Taeyong, Mayor of Gimhae, to 'Diligently' Meet Citizens Again This Year
January 7 to February 25, Visits to 19 Eup, Myeon, and Dong Districts
Hong Taeyong, mayor of Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, is starting the year 2025, the Year of Eulsa, with ‘Meetings with Citizens.’
Beginning on the 7th in Naeoe-dong, Mayor Hong will visit 19 eup, myeon, and dong districts, including Hallim-myeon on February 25, to communicate with each district head and citizens.
In particular, in Jangyu 3-dong and Hwacheon-dong, he plans to hold on-site executive meetings to receive reports on major local issues and seek solutions that reflect voices from the field.

View original imageEarlier in Naeoe-dong, he toured the Administrative Welfare Center and the Residents’ Autonomy Center and held informal talks with key organization leaders.
He also strolled barefoot along the Turtle Park barefoot walking trail, a famous spot in Naeoe-dong, and visited senior centers and civil complaint sites to engage in conversations with residents.
Since the launch of the 8th popular election term, Mayor Hong has emphasized and practiced field-centered communication administration, and this year, starting with this tour, he plans to reflect citizens’ voices in city governance to realize communicative administration.
