Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 8th that registration for the ‘2025 1st Term Goyang City Native Speaker Online English’ program began on the 7th.

View original imageFrom February 3 to 7, level tests will be conducted to assign classes according to proficiency. Classes held three times a week will run from February 10 to April 11 for a total of 24 sessions, and classes held twice a week will run from February 11 to April 3 for a total of 16 sessions.
Students can choose between one-on-one classes with one teacher per student or group classes with one teacher per three students. Discounts will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis for socially disadvantaged individuals.
The city signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with English education company EnglishTopia Co., Ltd. to provide Goyang citizens with free textbook files and deliver high-quality English education and services at reasonable costs.
Through this, it is expected to take a step closer to reducing private education expenses and fostering global talent.
Registration closes on the 31st and applications can be submitted on the official website of ‘Goyang Special City Native Speaker Online English’.
