Additionally, they listened to the common concerns of third-year middle school students regarding high school entrance and career paths, sharing their own exam experiences and holding mentoring sessions.
KIT is a university student IT volunteer group operated by KT to bridge the digital divide between regions. In particular, it is a growth-driven volunteer activity that allows university students to take on the role of educators by developing and implementing AI coding curricula themselves while receiving coaching from KT employees and experts, as well as gaining mentoring experience, which attracts high interest from students.
Last year, KT conducted education sessions with KIT volunteers at Baengnyeong Middle School in Ongjin-gun, Incheon, and Seongdang Middle School in Iksan-si, Jeonbuk. This year, starting with Yeongheung Middle School, KT plans to continuously expand its educational activities.
