Gwangju City Completes Intersection Improvement Construction at Jinu-ri and Dowung-ri, Docheok-myeon
Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 3rd that the corner intersection improvement construction in Jinwoo-ri and Dowung-ri, Docheok-myeon, has been completed.

View original imageThis Jinwoo-ri improvement project was carried out to resolve the risk of accidents and traffic congestion caused by the narrow turning radius at the Jinwoo Intersection on Local Road No. 98, with a total project cost of 900 million KRW fully funded by provincial government.
Additionally, the Dowung-ri improvement project involved various enhancements, including the installation of a dedicated right-turn lane by investing 100 million KRW of city funds to alleviate traffic congestion at the Dogung Elementary School three-way intersection. Through these efforts, the traffic flow at the intersection in the area is expected to become smoother, and residents' safety will be further ensured.
