The High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Agency (Gong-su-cheo) began the procedure to execute an arrest warrant for President Yoon Seok-yeol on the morning of the 3rd. On the morning of the 3rd, Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, was heading to the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. On the same day, the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials proceeded with the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Seok-yeol.

He also pointed out, "A judge, as a member of the judiciary, issued an illegal and invalid warrant that exempts Articles 110 and 111 of the Criminal Procedure Act, as if possessing legislative power." This referred to the fact that Chief Judge Lee Soon-hyung specified the exemption of applying Articles 110 and 111 of the Criminal Procedure Act when issuing the arrest warrant.
