Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it secured 15 billion KRW in special grants and other funds in the second half of last year, and will focus all efforts on resolving residents' long-standing projects and expanding safety nets in daily life in the new year.
During the second half of 2024, the district actively worked with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Seoul Metropolitan Government to secure funding, resulting in a total of 15 billion KRW in special grants and special adjustment grants for 22 projects. This amount is approximately 4.6 billion KRW more than the 10.4 billion KRW secured for 22 projects in the second half of 2023.

Specifically, these include ▲1.3 billion KRW for establishing Seoul-style screen park golf courses ▲1.2 billion KRW for renovating aging facilities in Jamae and Singil neighborhood parks ▲1.2 billion KRW for disaster prevention and rest plaza maintenance at Anyangcheon and Dorimcheon streams ▲1.7 billion KRW for pothole repairs and expanding automatic snow removal ▲500 million KRW for replacing unmanned information terminals to provide convenience for people with disabilities.
