Gwangju Seo-gu Supports 'Multicultural Family Grocery Shopping'… 200,000 KRW Per Household

Seo-gu, Gwangju City (District Mayor Kim Ikang) is supporting shopping at traditional markets during the holidays through the project "Welcome, Is It Your First Time at Yangdong Market?" for multicultural families.
According to Seo-gu on the 2nd, this project was promoted to help newly arrived multicultural families residing in Seo-gu reflect on the meaning of Korea's unique holidays while shopping at traditional markets, learn about Korean consumption culture, and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
The support target is multicultural families residing in Seo-gu who have been in the country for less than two years and whose income is within 100% of the median income. Seo-gu plans to select 100 households and provide each with Onnuri gift certificates worth about 200,000 KRW.
Households wishing to participate can visit the Gwangju Seo-gu Family Center by the 8th and submit an application form, resident registration certificate, certificate of entry and exit, and health insurance payment confirmation.
