Damyang County Selects Outstanding Departments and Employees for Civil Complaint Handling
"Boosting Employee Morale and Improving Civil Service"
Damyang County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Byeongno) announced on the 27th that it has selected outstanding departments and employees who have provided convenience to civil petitioners through prompt and proactive handling of civil affairs.
The county annually selects and rewards outstanding departments and employees in civil affairs processing to boost staff morale and encourage a culture of improved civil administration services.
In the "Gukmin Sinmungo" category, departments were evaluated over the past six months based on five criteria: compliance with processing deadlines, quality of responses, number of cases handled, petitioner satisfaction, and the number of Q&A posts on Sinmungo civil affairs policy. As a result, the Department of Spatial Regeneration (Best) and the Department of Livestock and Horticulture (Excellence) were selected.
In the "Civil Affairs Processing Mileage" category, points were awarded for reducing the processing time for simple and complex civil affairs that required more than two days to process.
The top award went to Kim Sunyoung from the Urban Department, the excellence award to Choi Kyunga from the Environment Department, and the encouragement award to Bang Seunghyun from the Water Circulation Project Office. They will receive certificates and prize money at the end of the year.
A county official stated, "We will continue to discover and encourage departments and employees who do their best to address residents' inconveniences, and provide civil administration services that enhance resident satisfaction."
