Gyeonggi Fire Department Conducts 'Fire Prevention Inspections' at 2,670 Schools in the Province
The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will conduct an intensive fire prevention inspection targeting 2,670 elementary, middle, and high schools across the province during the winter vacation.
During the inspection period, the Fire Safety Investigation Team from the local fire stations and private fire facility management contractors will directly check the proper operation of fire facilities at each school, as well as the management status of evacuation and fire prevention facilities such as fire shutters.

Cho Sun-ho, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, emphasized, "During the winter vacation period, we will strengthen fire safety management targeting schools by checking fire facilities to create a safe educational environment free from fire hazards."
