Lee Yong-bae, President of Hyundai Rotem, Joins 'Bye-Bye Plastic Challenge'

Hyundai Rotem announced on the 26th that CEO Lee Yong-bae participated in the 'Bye Bye Plastic Challenge' to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management along with employees.
The Bye Bye Plastic Challenge, organized by the Ministry of Environment, is a nationwide relay campaign started to reduce plastic pollution. Participants share their commitment to the cause and then nominate the next participant.

Hyundai Rotem is making efforts to reduce plastic usage. The company includes tumblers in the 'Welcome Kit' for new employees to naturally reduce the use of disposable cups. Employees participate in 'Eco Plogging' (an environmental protection activity involving picking up trash while walking or jogging) to clean the surroundings of the company building.
CEO Lee participated in this campaign after being nominated by Park Hyun-chul, CEO of Bukuk Securities, and recommended Bae Hyung-geun, CEO of Hyundai Motor Securities, as the next participant.
