Cho Ho-kwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Attends Opening Ceremony of Shared Kitchen 2nd Branch 'Mokhwasuragan'
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the opening ceremony of the second shared kitchen, 'Mokhwa Suragan,' located on the first floor of Mokhwa Village Vitality Center in Mullae-dong on the afternoon of December 19.
The district is leading efforts to create shared kitchens to spread a culture of sharing within the local community. Mokhwa Suragan is the second shared kitchen following the first one, 'Hamkke Cook Cook,' established in Yeongdeungpo-dong last June. It is equipped with individual induction cookers and cooking counters, designed for convenient use by small-scale users such as single-person households.
At the opening ceremony, Mayor Choi Ho-gwon, heads of professional organizations, and local residents attended, with a plaque unveiling and facility tour taking place. Additionally, a 'Home-cooked Meal Cooking Class' program for young single-person households was held, donated by the Mullae-dong Volunteer Association, adding a warm meaning of sharing.
