Goseong-gun Actively Promotes 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign'

On the morning of the 19th, Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, held a street fundraising event for the ‘Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign’ at the Goseong Nonghyup Farmers Market area to foster a culture of donation and spread the culture of sharing in the local community.

Lee Sang-geun, Governor of Goseong County, Gyeongnam, is donating funds to the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign.

Under the slogan “Make myself valuable through donation, make Gyeongnam valuable through donation,” residents including local institutions, social organizations, companies, kindergartens, and the general public participated in the fundraising. Many organizations such as the Women’s Association Council, Goseong-gun Volunteer Organizations Council, financial institutions, and Goseong-gun Chamber of Commerce actively promoted the street fundraising campaign, on-site fundraising, and participation in donations.

County Governor Lee Sang-geun said, “I feel proud that as the Hope Sharing donation boxes fill up, warm hearts also fill our county. I hope a lot of warm compassion is gathered. The administration will also carefully ensure that no neighbors are left out through various support measures.”

The ‘Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign’ will continue until January 31, 2025, and is promoted annually in cooperation with the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea to help neighbors in need and spread the culture of sharing.

Residents who wish to participate in the fundraising can join the sharing campaign through the Love Fruit donation boxes placed at the Resident Life Division of the county office or the town and township offices during the campaign period, as well as through donation consultations and ARS. The donated amount is automatically linked to the National Tax Service year-end tax settlement service, allowing donors to receive year-end tax benefits.
