Chungnam Boryeong City announced on the 19th that the '2024 Daecheon Winter Sea Love Festival' will be held at Daecheon Beach from the 21st to the 25th.
This year's festival, under the theme of 'Love, Lights, and the Sea,' will offer a variety of performances and hands-on programs, along with nighttime illuminations, to present a unique sense of winter romance by the sea.
There will also be a bubble show by Lee Sunho, a stage performance by singer Han Sooyoung, and a special concert by the emotional duo Oksang Dalbit. A romantic fireworks show will light up the night sky.
Additionally, there will be performances for children, including the Taekwondo performance 'Asura,' the play 'The Little Prince,' Christmas carols, and magic juggling shows.
On Christmas Day, the 25th, an MBTI talk show and prize events targeting the MZ generation will take place.
The city will install nighttime lighting facilities until January 12 next year to further enhance the beauty of the winter sea. Various hands-on programs such as Santa's Wish House, Snow BBQ experience, and roasted chestnut tasting will also be available for visitors to enjoy.
Mayor Kim Dongil said, "The Daecheon Winter Sea Love Festival is becoming a festival that further highlights the charm of Daecheon Beach in winter," and added, "We hope families, couples, and friends will create warm memories together while enjoying special programs and the romantic night scenery."
