Gwangju Science Center and Youth Space Center Sign MOU to Promote Space Science
Expansion of Youth Activities and Science Culture Services in Space Science
The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 18th that it has signed a business agreement with the National Youth Space Center to promote youth activities in space science and to enhance science and culture services for the public.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in operating programs for regions with limited access to science and culture, thereby reducing the gap in science and culture benefits. They will also exchange science experience programs and teaching materials, jointly develop new programs to advance science and culture services, establish a foundation for mutual growth through cross-promotion to visitors and users, and increase public access to science and culture.
Director Lee Junggu stated, "The National Gwangju Science Museum offers a variety of science exhibition and education programs, while the National Youth Space Center has expertise in developing and operating astronomy-focused camp programs for youth. Through this business agreement, we expect to collaborate and develop more effective experiential programs."
