View original imageGwangju City announced on the 17th that it has selected five outstanding cases of 'proactive administration' that have produced tangible results for its citizens.
The city recently held the '3rd Proactive Administration Committee' meeting to select outstanding cases for the second half of the year, highlighting those with high public resonance, creativity, and expertise.
The top proactive administration case for the second half was chosen as "Presenting the unnecessary installation of color reduction facilities at the metropolitan sanitary landfill, saving 4 billion KRW in budget."
Outstanding cases included "Attracting Gwangju's first semiconductor design (fabless) company, completing the fabless-fab-packaging semiconductor production system" and "Achieving a 17.34% market share for the Gwangju Public Delivery App in response to the tyranny of private delivery apps."
Encouragement awards were given to "Realizing tax justice by utilizing court cases for the first time nationwide" and "Finding the key to military airport relocation through direct communication."
Civil servants recognized for these outstanding proactive administration cases will receive certificates and personnel incentives, while the departments responsible for the cases will be awarded prize money.
