Damyang-gun to Switch Water Bill to 'Electronic Invoice' Starting Next Year
'Tax Notification Talk Service' Operation
Overcoming Omission Issues and Enhancing Efficiency
The Mulsunhwan Office of Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 16th that it will expand the operation of the ICT-based electronic water bill notification service called 'Tax Notification Talk Service' starting next year.
Unlike the traditional Giro bill notification method sent by mail, the Tax Notification Talk allows users to receive their bills via KakaoTalk or text messages.
As of now, 1,506 households have applied for the Tax Notification Talk service this year, and the county aims to digitally convert all households by January next year. Elderly and vulnerable groups who are not familiar with digital usage will continue to receive Giro bills as before.
A resident who applied for the Tax Notification Talk service expressed satisfaction, saying, "Unlike the traditional Giro bill, it is convenient to be able to view the bill anytime and anywhere."
