Serving Behind the Scenes... Yangsan City Hosts 'Volunteer Unity Festival'
A festival was held for volunteers who served invisibly to neighbors in need.
The Yangsan City Volunteer Organizations Council (President Lee Jin-hee) held the '2024 Yangsan City Volunteers Unity Festival' on the 14th at the Yangsan Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater. About 500 people attended, including Mayor Na Dong-yeon, Gwak Jong-po, chairman of the city council, various volunteer organizations, and general citizens.
This event was held to encourage volunteers who have devoted themselves to volunteering throughout the year and to boost their pride. The first part included an opening ceremony and volunteer merit awards, and the second part featured awards from the Volunteer Organizations Council president and congratulatory performances.
