The event, held on the 12th at the 3rd-floor convention hall of the Holiday Inn Gwangju Hotel, was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Gwangju City, and the Gwangju Green Car Promotion Agency. The event introduced investment and financial support programs aimed at sharing the achievements of the automobile industry in the Gwangju region and revitalizing the specialized materials, parts, and equipment complex.
Dean Kim has been recognized for supporting innovation and technology development of automobile parts companies in the Gwangju region through the establishment of industry-academia cooperation systems, proposing policies through various seminars, forums, and media column contributions, and suggesting directions for the development of Gwangju's automobile industry, the creation and revitalization of a national industrial complex leading future vehicles, as well as contributing to workforce development and job creation in related fields.
