View original imageThis event was conducted as ‘non-formal learning’ to allow teachers to learn and research autonomously. It holds great significance in breaking the conventional framework of training and opening a new chapter in training formats.
The program included ▲ Classrooms changing through teacher growth ▲ Non-formal learning and ways to enhance teacher professionalism ▲ Our journey to promote non-formal learning ▲ ‘Gyeonggi-Teacher Creators’ performance ▲ Sharing session on operational achievements ▲ Growing together (new attempts by training institutions) ▲ Support plans for teachers’ autonomous growth in 2025, among others.
In particular, the event introduced 80 educational materials produced by the ‘Gyeonggi-Teacher Creators’ to participants. These materials (content) were developed ‘by teachers, for teachers, and of teachers,’ and were highly regarded by attending teachers for being tailored to teachers’ perspectives.
The Provincial Office of Education newly proposed ‘non-formal learning’ training for the first time in response to the digital transformation era. Based on this, it plans to continuously focus on strengthening the autonomous capabilities of teachers and educational professionals through training.
